No. Only your thumb impression is needed — the right thumb for men, the left thumb for women. The leaf will tell us your birth details, not the other way around.
Not every person's leaf exists in every collection, and some are found only when the time is right. If no leaf matches your impression, we will tell you honestly and you may try again later. We never read from a leaf that is not yours.
Locating and verifying the leaf can take from thirty minutes to a few hours depending on the impression type. Once found, the General Chapter reading itself usually takes 60 to 90 minutes.
Yes. A clear thumb impression taken on plain paper can be sent to us by post, and the reading can be conducted and recorded for the person. Please call first so we can guide you on taking the impression correctly.
The leaf is written in old poetic Tamil. Guruji reads and interprets it for you in Tamil, Hindi or English as you prefer.
Most remedies are simple — a temple visit, a specific charity, a pooja on a particular day. Where a homam is prescribed, we arrange it at the correct temple and inform you of the cost in advance. Nothing is ever added beyond what the leaf states.
